The golden age of Hollywood is coming to the Toledo Museum of Art. â??Made in Hollywoodâ?? showcases more than 90 prints by the most important photographers working in Hollywood from 1920 to 1960. The exhibition, on display from Oct. 7, 2012 thru Jan. 20 2013 will celebrate some of the best portraits and photography from the London based achieves of author and collector John kobal.
The show will highlight idols from Hollywood such as Marlene Dietrich, Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant and Humphrey Bogart. Tom Loeffler Curator of works of paper tells us that â??This photography played a vital role in launching actors and actresses into stardomâ??. Tickets for the exhibit will be $8 for adults $5 for seniors and students 6 to 22.
