      Mall of Monroe hosts weekend anti-bullying events

      The event starts Saturday at 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at the Mall of Monroe at 2121 N. Monroe St.

      The Mall of Monroe is partnering with Malls and Retailers Unite Against Bullying to fight against bullying for the month of October.

      Captain McFinn and Friends, a nationally recognized leader in early childhood anti-bullying educational programming, is sponsoring the event. The event starts Saturday at 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at the Mall of Monroe at 2121 N. Monroe St. More than 100 malls across America are participating.

      The scheduled events include:

      10:00 â?? Monroe Martial Arts performs bully skit and demo

      10:30 â?? S.H.A.R.K Patrol Kit Presentation (kit contains anti-bullying materials)

      11:00 â?? Peg Harris Dance Performance, Lead of to the march

      12:00 â?? Bullying Prevention March and Rally begins, led by Peg Harris Dancers and local Mascots




      Special Guests expected to attend:

      â?¢ Representatives from Monroe Public Schools
