Man admits to death of 9-year-old boy in car crash

A man plead guilty Thursday to a car crash that killed a Fostoria boy last year.
George R. Tucker of Fostoria, plead guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide. The prosecution claims speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
9-year-old Mavin K. Hamilton was hit November 16, 2012 at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Lytle Street. Ohio State Highway Patrol said Tucker's truck was driving on Columbus Avenue and struck Hamilton when the boy ran into the street. Hamilton was air lifted to a Toledo Hospital where he died two days later from his injuries.
Tucker faces up to 60 months in prison, a $10,000 fine, and have his driver's license suspended for at least three years. Tucker has been released on an own recognizance bond with conditions.
