The ex-boyfriend of missing Elaina Steinfurth's mother faced a judge for the first time on charges he lied to investigators about the toddler's disappearance.
23-year-old Steven King's bond was set at $250,000.
King's attorney argued his client should get a lower amount because he's not facing a violent charge but the judge disagreed.
After King's arrested yesterday, he claimed his innocence to WNWO's cameras.
Elaina has not been seen since June 2nd.
Despite extensive searches by police and authorities, there's been no sign of her.
Elaina's mother, 25-year-old Angela Steinfurth, is due back in court tomorrow morning.
She's been charged with obstructing official business in her daughter's disapperance.
