A Canadian man was rushed to the hospital after falling into the Sandusky Bay Wednesday night.
Police tell WNWO that Oscar Dias was found in the water by the coal docks at 2705 West Monroe Street around 10:19 p.m. The boat he was apparently working on was picking up coal when Mr. Dias wound up in the water. Some sources say he fell, but police could not confirm that.
Police say Dias did not suffer serious injuries but was showing signs of hypothermia. He was rushed to Firelands Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition this morning.
