      Man in custody for shots fired in Tiffin apartment

      Seth E. McMeen, 24, faces charges of inducing panic and discharging a weapon in city limits

      Officials have taken a man in custody after investigating a scene of shots fired in Tiffin Thursday morning.


      Tiffin Police received a call of shots fired shortly before 2 a.m. at an apartment complex on Sandusky Street between Market and Perry.


      Seth E. McMeen, 24, faces charges of inducing panic and discharging a weapon in city limits. McMeen is being held at Seneca County Jail.


      Officials are investigating if a second man faces charges.


      Roads were closed off at the intersection after investigating the incident, but later opened roads to traffic around 6 a.m.


      Ohio State Highway Patrol and SWAT teams assisted at the scene.


      WNWO spoke to officials who said a man fired shots in his apartment.


      Dispatch said no medical crews were sent to the scene.
