Man murdered, woman shot in latest Glass City gun violence

Tyrone Patterson, Toledo's latest murder victim / Lucas Co. Jail

A new day, a new homicide investigation in the City of Toledo.

Detectives tell WNWO News a 23-year-old man was shot and killed at the intersection of East Delaware and Walnut in North Toledo just after midnight. Police have identified the city's 27th homicide victim as Tyrone Patterson.

So far police have no leads on a possible shooter or motive.

Toledo Police also needs the public's help in tracking down the person who shot a woman in the back at the Rally's at the corner of Airport Highway and South Byrne Road in South Toledo.

The victim was in a car with other people when an argument broke out with somone outside the car. That's when a gun was pulled and shots were fired. The victim has been identified as Jacqueline Deaton.
