A man is in serious condition after a crash involving a deer on I-75 Thursday evening.
Ibrahim Hussein, 42, was a front passenger in a Chrysler minivan headed north on I-75, near milepost 197 in Rossford.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a deer jumped across the highway and into the path of the van. The deer went through the front windshield, striking Hussein.
Four other passengers were in the vehicle, in addition to the driver. None of the other occupants were injured.
Hussein was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He is listed in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
