Man seriously injured in motorcycle crash at SealMaster

He was not wearing a helmet, according to troopers.

One man is seriously injured in Sandusky Monday morning after a motorcycle crash.

The Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said it happened shortly before 6 a.m. at SealMaster Pavement Products and Equipment on Campbell Street.

34-year-old William D. Gahimer, of Vickery, Ohio, was leaving work on a 1998 Suzuki motorcycle. Officials said Gahimer rapidly accelerated when he lost control of the vehicle.

The motorcycle overturned, throwing Gahimer onto the pavement. He was sent to the Firelands Regional Medical Center.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to troopers.
