As the Toledo Public School District maintained its ranking of continuous improvement in the latest state report cards, other local school districts were either making great strides or taking steps back.
Northwood and Woodmore school districts both climbed two rankings, from effective last year to the highest possible ranking, excellent with distinction this year.
Rossford rose one designation while Bowling Green returned to excellent with distinction after dropping last year.
Anthony Wayne, Lake Local, Maumee, Otsego, Ottawa Hills, Perrysburg, Springfield, Swanton, and Sylvania were all rated excellent.
Lake Local, Maumee, and Springfield actually dropped from last year. Anthony Wayne on the other hand increased a ranking.
The Washington Local, Oregon, and Denoa districts were ranked effective. Washington Local dropped to effective from excellent.
