A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for portions of northwest Ohio until 1 p.m. Sunday.
The March storm will bring another 1 to 2 inches of snow Sunday on top of what fell overnight. Snow will taper to the south by mid-day.
Bitter cold will return Sunday with high temperatures in the teens, eventually leading to sub-zero temperatures by dawn Tuesday.
The Winter Weather Advisory applies to the counties of Erie; Hancock; Huron; Lucas; Ottawa; Sandusky; Seneca; and Wood.
The National Weather Service expects lingering layers of ice under the snow to impact travel conditions into Monday.
The Ohio Department of Transportation has urged drivers to give slow-moving snow plows room to clear off highways.
