Mayoral forum to feature all candidates vying for Toledo's top spot


hile other media outlets may have already decided for you the top candidates in this year's race for Mayor of Toledo, WNWO and The Toledo Free Press have teamed up to let you hear from all candidates.

The Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition hosts a mayoral candidate forum Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Toledo-Lucas County Main Library's McMaster Family Center. The event is open to the public.

Moderated by Toledo Free Press Editor in Chief Michael S. Miller and WNWO News Director Jim Blue, the forum has been opened up to all candidates vying for votes in the race for mayor in this year's Primary election.

All seven candidates on the ballot - Mayor Mike Bell, Councilman D. Michael Collins, Opal Covey, Alan Cox, Michael Konwinski, Lucas County Auditor Anita Lopez, and Councilman Joe McNamara - have been invited to be a part of the forum, outline their platforms, and take questions from an audience.
