Sat, 19 Jul 2014 15:18:49 GMT — A woman was killed in a car crash in Grafton Township early Saturday morning.25-year-old Corrine Reid, of Medina, was heading southbound on Cowley Road, just south of Crocker Road, when she drove off the side of the road and lost control of her vehicle.According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the car struck a ditch and overturned, throwing Reid from the vehicle. The car hit a utility pole and several trees, where it eventually landed on its side.Officials rushed Reid to the hospital, but she later died at the University Hospital Elyria from injuries sustained in the crash.Speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, according to authorities. Reid was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
