Mich. driver indicted for fatal Christmas Day crash

Months after the wrong-way crash that killed a Toledo man on I-75, a 41-year-old driver has been indicted by a Lucas County grand jury.

Adam Tunison of LaSalle, Mich. was indicted on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide for the crash that killed 26-year-old Juan Garcia early Christmas morning.

Tunison is accused of drunken and reckless driving when he hit Garcia's car head on while going the wrong way on southbound I-75 near Ottawa River Road. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to The Blade, an official with the Lucas County prosecutor's office said two samples of Tunison's blood exceeded the .008 blood alcohol content limit for driving under the influence.

If convicted, Tunison faces eight years in prison.
