The world's most popular social media website has once again become the place where people air their suicidal thoughts.
23-year-old Cynthia Lee committed suicide on Monday. But before she killed herself with her grandfather's shotgun, Lee posted a farewell note on her Facebook page.
Lee wrote, " I can't handle this **** anymore", telling her late mother that she was coming to see her. She was reportedly having difficulty dealing with the loss of her mother who passed away a few years ago.
The mother of three children, the oldest just five years old, was found by Gladstone, Michigan police around 2pm Monday afternoon after reports of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Why do you think people turn to Facebook to share their final thoughts? Is there anything that can be done to prevent future deaths such as this? Post your comments below.
