Missing Man Found at Michigan Lake
MONROE COUNTY, MI (WNWO) —
A Michigan man who had been reported missing for more than a week is found Thursday in Monroe County.
In a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, the body of 40-year-old Derik Bondy of Monroe was found in ten feet of water off Lakeshore Drive near Nelson.
At the time of his disappearance on January 10th, he was reportedly riding an A-T-V when it apparently fell through the ice .
He was found through the use of sonar equipment and Remote Operated Vehicle.
The body was taken to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
