Missing Mich. mother: Video of van, suspect sketch released

Norton Shores police have released a sketch of a person of interest.

New video of a suspect vehicle and a person-of-interest sketch could provide clues to the whereabouts of a missing Michigan mother.

Jessica Heeringa, 25, was working at a gas station in Norton Shores, Mich. last Friday night when she disappeared without a trace. Police said they found no signs of a struggle and think Heeringa was lured outside. The cash register was full and her purse, keys and car were still at the Exxon Mobile station.

The suspect vehicle seen in the video is a silver Chrysler mini van caught by security camera not far from the crime scene. The suspect, police believe, drove the young mother away.

Norton Shores police have also released a sketch of the person of interest, who is described as a white male with light brown wavy hair, age 30 to 40 and around 6 feet tall.

"We're assuming that it could have been someone that she knew, an acquaintance or a customer that she's built a rapport with," Norton Shores Police Chief Daniel Shaw.

Police say they've already received hundreds of tips. Anyone with information is asked to contact Norton Shores authorities at (231)-733-2691.
