Toledo, OH - The City of Toledo has put to use and old ice cream style truck that has been converted into a mobile graffiti fighting unit.
A seasonal crew will be out driving the streets of Toledo looking for graffiti, but they also work on a complaint basis.
Officials say that Toledo does not have nearly as large of a graffiti problem as many other major cities, and this truck is another tool to keep it that way.
People in the local art community say that much of the "street art" is pleasing, but the people doing it should ask permission from building owners before doing so, that way they can actually spent time on doing it, and make it quality work.
They say many building faces in Toledo could benefit from a face-lift in the form of a painted mural.
