Monroe man dies 1 week after crash, Police seek tips

The Monroe County Sheriffâ??s Office says that a Monroe man died on Friday, May 10th, after a crash on May 3rd.

The day of the accident, authorities responded to N. Monroe Street near Dexter Road in Frenchtown Township for a minivan vs. motorcycle collision.

An investigation revealed that 52-year-old Mary L. Ball, of Carleton, was turning her a minivan into a driveway when 46-year-old Kevin L. Polley hit her vehicle with his motorcycle.

After the crash, Polley was taken to a local hospital but a week later passed away due from the injuries he suffered in the crash.

Ms. Ball was treated and has since been released for injuries she suffered in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by Deputies Brian Francisco and Tim George of the Monroe County Sheriffâ??s Office - Traffic Services Division.
