Another round of snow has blanketed roadways in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, creating treacherous driving conditions that have caused several crashes.

According to the WNWO weather team, between 2 and 4 inches has fallen across the area, with the heavier totals to the southern portion of the viewing area.

Winds between 15 and 25 mph and gusts of up to 35 mph have caused blowing snow, challenging crews trying to clear roads and making driving dangerous, not only for those on rural roads.

      SNOW EMERGENCIES and EVENT CANCELLATIONS

US 23 south from Michigan to the Central Ave. exit in Ohio was temporarily closed Saturday due to crashes. Several semis were seen off to the side of highways and expressways across the area, due to extremely slick roads.
