The nice run of weather we've enjoyed thus far in May will continue for most of us today. Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 70's this afternoon. There is a slight chance that a few of us may see a passing shower - but otherwise today will be another fairly nice day and we can expect more of the same tomorrow.
Changes work into the region overnight Thursday and into the day Friday as a low pressure system and trailing cold front move through offering some light, widespread rain and a few isolated thunderstorms. It will be cooler Friday too with highs in the mid 60's.
For the weekend it looks like we're in the lower 60's Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds. Saturday night a powerful cold front moves through and will make Sunday a chilly day... in spite of plenty of sunshine highs on Sunday will top out in the mid 50's!
After some patchy frost Monday morning we will warm t hings up nicely by the middle of next week.
