Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle Williams County crash

A man was killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident.

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon, and his passenger was injured, in a 3-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 15 at US 20 in Madison Township.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol say 66-year-old Craig Parliament died at the scene after his Harley was hit and then pushed into another vehicle.

Parliament's passenger was also injured in the crash. 35-year-old Connie Shope, of Cygnet, was taken to Parkview Hospital for treatment.

According to troopers, 27-year-old Delbert Drinnon, Jr. "failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead" and as a result hit Parliament's motorcycle.

That initial collision sent the Harley into a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Yadira Garcia.

Garcia had 3 passengers, none of which were injured.
