The former Maumee man accused of killing a teenage girl over two decades ago faced a judge for the first time Monday.
Walter Zimbeck, of Tennessee, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Lori Ann Hill. The Swanton 14-year-old was found dead four days after she disappeared in October 1985.
Hill's family faced Zimbeck for the first time in a Fulton County courtroom Monday. The victim's sister, Rachel Hill, expressed her anger, "He is finally, finally getting his."
Zimbeck is being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. His bond is set at $1 million.
