Need a background check? Rossford PD can help
TOLEDO, Oh (WNWO) —
Many private and most government organizations now require at least some form of a background check in order to be hired.
The Rossford Police Department is aware of this and offers a service to help people process a background check.
The program is called WebCheck and it's through the Ohio State's Attorney General's office. Rossford Police run a criminal background check through both the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the FBI.
"Primarily it's for employment purposes, that's usually who really wants it...police officers, firefighters, school teachers, nurses, doctors, coaches things like that," said Chief Glenn Goss with the Rossford Police Department.
The cost of the background check is $30 each for the BCI and FBI.
If you need a background check, you can stop by the Rossford Police Station anytime between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
