Northwood bank robbery suspects on the loose

UPDATE: The FBI has released photos from Huntington Bank's surveillance cameras to aid Northwood police in catching the culprits.

Police describe the first suspect, who was observed driving the getaway vehicle, as a black male, approximately 5'8'' to 5'10" tall and between 175-200 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing, white shoes and what appeared to be a green-colored, homemade mask.

The second suspect is described as a black male wearing similar clothing and a mask. Both suspects were armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to contact the FBI at (419)-243-5053. Huntington Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

ORIGINAL: Northwood police are searching for two bank robbery suspects who are believed to be armed on Thursday morning.

According to dispatchers, two black males wearing hoods robbed Huntington Bank at 2550 Woodville Road just before 9:30 a.m.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Police believe they are now driving a blue Cutlass with license plates FQQ2979.
