      Another democrat could be joining the Ohio governor's race.

      H amilton County Commissioner Todd Portune told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he plans a campaign swing across the state before making an official announcement about his decision to run in the gubernatorial election.

      I f he does run , he would challenge fellow democrat, Cuyahoga County Executive Ed Fitzgerald for the party nomination.

      T he deadline to file for the election is Feb. 5.
