Curiosity didn't kill this lucky kitty, who made national headlines after surviving a four-hour trip through Ohio under the hood of a car.
The cat somehow climbed into the engine compartment and rode almost 200 miles before the driver smelled something funny and pulled over. A stunned state patrol trooper helped the motorist call the Medina SPCA, who arrived minutes later.
"The cat was pretty calm, seemed really scared, and he had burns on his right side," Trooper Aleksander Tot told WJW-TV.
A Cloverleaf Animal Hospital veterinarian named the cat "Eclipse" after the model of the car he was pulled from. The SPCA is still searching for the feline's owner.
Help Eclipse find his way back home by sharing this story on Facebook or Twitter and contacting the Medina SPCA at 330-723-7722.
