Workers earning minimum wage in Ohio and 9 other states can expect a little more in their pay checks for 2013.
According to the Ohio Department of Commerce, the state's minimum wage is going up 15 cents to $7.85 an hour and the new minimum for tipped employees will be go up 8 cents to $3.93 an an hour.
A year ago, the minimum wage jumped 30 cents at the beginning of 2012.
Ohio is not alone with wage increases. Nine other states also have wage increases anywhere from 10 to 35 cents an hour.
For workers in Ohio putting in full time hours this wage this could mean an increase of about $340 a year.
