      Ohio mother sentenced for baby's meth death

      A 21-year- old Akron mother is going to have to spend the next two decades in prison after her 17-month-old baby boy died from swallowing meth.


      Heather Lerch was sentenced to life in prison with no change of parole for 22 years. She was convicted in a jury trial last month.


      Two other people prosecutors say were involved in the February death of Patrick Lerch were sentenced to prison Tuesday.


      22-year-old Ronald Legg received life in prison with parole after 27 years for stuffing a coffee filter saturated with meth inside the child's mouth. Another defendant was sentenced to 9 years.,
