      OHP uncovers $12,000 in stolen merchandise during Turnpike bust

      Stolen items OHP recovered during bust Thursday


      Ohio Highway Patrol officers are used to uncovering drugs during traffic stops not stolen merchandise.


      Two Chicago women were arrested Thursday morning after troopers stopped them on the Ohio Turnpike near Archbold.


      Troopers found 27 Wal-Mart gift cards and merchandise worth more than $12,000.


      They say it was all purchased with stolen credit cards.
