      Operation Dirty Boy II busts dozens of Toledoans

      Operation Dirty Boy II was named in honor of fallen Toledo Police detective Keith Dressel

      Toledo Police conducted a drug sweep across the city last week that landed 69 people behind bars.

      Operation Dirty Boy II, named in rememberance of fallen Vice/Narcotics Detective Keith Dressel, took place between Wednesday, Feb. 11 and Friday, Feb. 13.

      26 search warrants were executed throughout the City of Toledo in the three-day sweep. Sixty-seven felony charges, 71 misdemeanor charges, two felony warrants, and 81 misdemeanor warrants were filed as a result of the blitz.

      Officials seized crack cocaine, powder cocaine, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, over $28,000 in currency and 7 firearms. Over $87,000 in illegal drugs were seized in the three-day sweep.
