Overnight snow on roads trigger I-75 crashes

Slippery roads on Tuesday morning led to several crashes on Interstate 75.

Toledo Police said a driver hit the median, triggering a seven car pileup in the southbound lanes of I-75 at Philips Avenue around 6:13 a.m. Barricades are being put up. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Another three-car crash was reported at Ottawa River Road. No word on any injuries at this point.

Dispatch said the crashes have been cleared. Roads have reopened to traffic at 9:12 a.m.
