The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced a OVI checkpoint in Ottawa County this Friday.
Authorities will set up in Portage Township to prevent drivers from drinking and driving. The checkpoint will take place from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. The official location be announced Friday.
This marks the second week of troopers have set up checkpoints throughout northwest Ohio. Federal grants are funding the checkpoints.
Other counties had checkpoints in Defiance County and Sylvania Township.
