Officials will be conducting sobriety checkpoints throughout northwest Ohio Friday evening.
The Lucas County Operating Vehicles Intoxicated Task Force will set up three checkpoints Friday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. in an effort to curb drinking and driving.
The three locations are at intersections of Reynolds Road near Central Avenue, State Route 2 near Spring Meadows, and McCord Road near Bancroft.
Officials are urging drivers to think twice before drinking and driving.
Contact Deputy Mark Woodruff at 419-461-1914 for any questions.
