Owens Community College is looking into the possibility of changing its charter, so it could seek levy support from the community.
A college spokes member confirmed to NBC 24 that it has formed a committee to explores ways to raise new revenue.
He says one of those options is a levy.
As a state community college, Owens can't be placed a levy on the ballot.
It would need to change its charter to a community college district, seeking Ohio Board of Regents approval of the amendment.
