Packo's, Burger King owner dies unexpectedly

Tony Packo's new owner, Robert Bennett, has died at the age of 76.

The owner of Toledo's Tony Packo's and several Burger King restaurants has died unexpectedly the age of 76.

Robert Bennett died Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic.

Before retiring in 1996, Bennett headed up Bennett Management Corp., owning over two dozen Burger King locations in three states. He came out of retirement in 2011 after winning a court-ordered sale of his business.

The $5.5 million sale included ownership of all Packo's restauants, recipes, and the buns signed by celebrities.

Packo's locations include two Anderson's stores, a wholesale business, and three full-sized restaurants.
