College students can apply for a paid internship programs pursuing degrees in high-tech fields.
The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce was suggested to operate the Third Frontier Internship Program, so they can receive a grant with about $400,000.The funding wants to reward Ohio students with career opportunities within Ohio's private sector business community.
Interns will receive up to of $3,000 a year. Students should be enrolled at least a sophomore at any credited technology, community, or university. Master's or doctoral candidates are welcomed to apply. About 128 students will be accepted into the program. Upon completion of the internship, the commerce can offer full-time employment to those prepared with the organization.
