Two brothers were arrested for an early morning shooting that left six people wounded after a Super Bowl party.
Toledo Police say that Rhaymoun Villolovos, 20, and Richard Villolovos, 22, were arrested early Monday morning at a Toledo area hospital where they were visiting one of their shooting victims.
According to police, the shooting happened at approximately 12:18 am outside of Mugshots Bar, 1001 N. Summit St. A police spokesman said that the two brothers were ejected from the bar earlier that evening. They went to their vehicle and retrieved guns. When the victims exited the bar, the Villolovos brothers opened fire, wounding six.
Wounded in the shooting were Fenton Cosper, 21; Caprice Walker, 22; Jeffery McCloud, 31; Destiny Gordon, 18; Shandon Groom, 19; and Lakeisha Carter, 20.
One of the victims was shot accidently, according to Sgt. Joe Heffernan. That person was a friend to the Villolovos brothers, so they went to a Toledo area hospital where the victims were being treated. Police arrested the brothers at the hospital.
Police suspect the shooting was gang related.
The pair are incarcerated in the Lucas County Jail and will be arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Tuesday morning.
