People packed their appetites Sunday at the Rossford Fire Department to attend an an all-you-can-eat breakfast to benefit the fallen Toledo firefighters Jaime Dickman and Stephen Machcinski.
The Rossford Fire Department planned the breakfast, which cost each person $5 ticket. Rossfordâ??s fire chief, Josh Drouard, said the department has close ties to their brothers and sisters in the Toledo Fire and Rescue. Drouard said, â??(The breakfast) is a great way to keep the comradery and brotherhood together and a good way to give back, not only to our community, but to the fallen firefighters.â??
Scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, milk, orange juice and coffee were all on the menu.All proceeds from the fundraiser went to the families of Privates Machcinski and Dickman.VIEW: Local stories on fallen firefighters
