Pills, pot seized during Wood Co. traffic stop

A pair of Michigan residents is behind bars in Wood County after this drug bust on I-75.
Troopers stopped them for a lanes violation on friday morning. When they approached the car, officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.
During their search they found, 231 Oxycodone pills, 90 Suboxone strips, a small amount of pot and drug paraphernalia.
Both the driver, Kayla Sawka, 18, of Southfield, Mich., and passenger, Dontay Harris, 26, of Hazel Park, Mich., were incarcerated in the Wood County Justice Center and charged with one count of trafficking and possession of Oxycodone, both second-degree felonies; one count of trafficking and possession of Oxycodone, both third-degree felonies; and trafficking and possession in Suboxone, both fourth-degree felonies.
Harris was also charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; possession of Ecstasy, a fifth-degree felony; providing false information, a first-degree misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a minor-misdemeanor.
Swanka was also charged with possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, a minor-misdemeanor.
