Pizza and a movie? Marco's making it happen

Marco's Pizza is teaming up with Family Video to create thousands of jobs.

If pizza and a movie at home is how you'd like to spend your evening, Family Video and Toledo-based Marco's Pizza are teaming up just for you.

A vice president of Marco's, Jason Lowder, told WNWO Today that Marco's plans to build pizzerias inside roughly half of Family Video's rental locations over the next seven years. At 50 stores a year, Lowder said the 350 locations would create about 7,000 jobs during that time span.

Lowder said the partnership came to fruition, in part, because the transition from VHS to DVD/Bluray left Family Video with about 1,500 square feet of extra space in its stores. The move would make Marco's one of the largest pizza chains in the country.
