Police: bank robbery suspect on the loose Thursday morning

It happened at Fifth Third Bank on Sterns Road in Lambertville.

An armed robbery happened at the Fifth Third Bank in the block of 3500 Sterns Road Thursday morning.

Deputies arrived at the scene around 9 a.m. Authorities said a male suspect entered the bank through the front doors, wearing a Halloween skeleton style-ski mask. The suspect approached the bank teller, threatened the teller with a hand gun and demanded money according to police. The bank teller handed out money and police said the suspect ran west into the woods where officials lost him.

No one was injured.

Police identify the man as approximately 6'0 tall, thin build, a long, sleeve colored shirt and khaki pants.
