Police: Facebook photos help ID suspect in NW Ohio bank robberies

Investigators tell WNWO that a Michigan man's Facebook photos helped identify him as a suspect in several northwest Ohio bank robberies.

39-year-old Jason Radigan, of Farmington Hills, was apprehended by the FBI on Saturday in Eagle County, Colorado.

One of the several law enforcement agencies investigating the case confirmed, on Wednesday, that a tip from the public gave them Radigan's name.

They then compared surveillance images from bank robberies in Toledo, Point Place, Perrysburg and Indiana to Radigan's Facebook profile.

Last week, both Toledo and Perrysburg Police said they believed the same suspect was behind the robberies in Ohio and Indiana.

There are plans to extradite Radigan back to Ohio where he'll be tried in federal court.

At this time the 39-year-old is still being held at the Eagle County jail.
