UPDATE: 10:47 A.M. Toledo Police sent out a tweet to confirm they have the suspect in custody.

Toledo Police have confirmed an armed person is inside Scott High School Monday morning.

Authorities said there is a stand-off and negotiators have been sent to the scene. Classes resumed Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday. Students are inside the building.

Toledo Public Schools spokes member Patty Mazur said students are on lockdown in the buildings. Officials urge parents not to come by the school to pick up their students.

Mazur said the armed person, a 15-year-old student, is inside a classroom and has isolated himself in the room. Police negotiators are in the process of talking to him as of this time.
