Police: No suspects, video in Toledo teen murder case

It's been nearly 3 weeks since Tyler McIntoush was gunned down in Central Toledo.

A Toledo Police spokesman says detectives are "working everyday" to determine who fatally shot a Toledo teen last month.

Sgt. Joe Heffernan also told NBC24 that none of the department's SkyCop cameras were near the intersection of Collingwood and Nottingham, where 16-year-old Tyler McIntoush was gunned down June 24th.

As of Monday, August 12, authorities had no suspects in the death of the Toledo Maritime Academy student.

"This is a very high priority case for us," Sgt. Heffernan said.

According to police, McIntoush was shot in both the head and leg.

A friend of the teen has said that McIntoush's had left her residence, after walking her home from work, just before he was killed.

McIntoush was believed to be heading home himself, at the time of the shooting, and his body was found less than a half mile from his mother's home.

The 16-year-old would have been a junior this fall at the Maritime Academy of Toledo and worked at Netty's ice cream shop.

Anyone with information on McIntoush's murder is asked to call Crimestoppers at 419-255-1111.
