Police say drugs involved in fatal west Toledo motorcycle crash

A Toledo man died in a motorcycle crash and investigators say drugs, alcohol, and speeding were involved.
The two-vehicle accident happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Douglas and Ida Road. Authorities said the driver of the motorcycle, Jason Alexander, 32, was hit head-on at the intersection. Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, David Robinson Sr., 38, fled the accident but Toledo Police arrested him hours later.
The crash remains under investigation.
