Police seek suspect in Monroe, 3 schools locked down

, the fourth suspect in the case was apprehended early Friday evening.

Three Monroe schools were placed on lockdown Friday morning while police searched the downtown area for a suspect in an abduction case.

According to Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV, the schools affected were Monroe Middle School, St. John Catholic School and Trinity Lutheran School. The lockdown is now over.

Officers have 3 suspects in custody at this time, but are seeking one more near Smith Street. Police told WDIV the search began around 7:50 a.m.

No other details were immediately available, authorities declined to disclose their identities pending court appearances next week.
