Putnam County teen to face Romes brothers murder trial

The Romes brothers murder trial is set for November 4.

The trial has been set for the Putnam County teen accused of killing two brothers.

17-year-old Michael Fay will appear in court November 4. The teen faces murder charges for 14-year-old Blaine Romes and 17-year-old Blake Romes in May. The brothers bodies' were recovered in two separate locations after Fay directed authorities to their locations.

Fay, who will be tried as an adult, plead not guilty. A statewide Ambert Alert was issued in May for the three teenagers when Romes' mother discovered a bloody crime scene.
