Senator Sherrod Brown was in Toledo on Friday to announce a new bill that would extend and enhance the Earned Income Tax Credit. The bill would expand the earned income tax credit and enhance the child tax credit for families. Sen. Brown said it would also lift 300,000 workers out of poverty.He also called on Congress to pass the Fair Minimum Wage Act, raising it to $10.10 an hour, while increasing the minimum wage for tipped workers.After the news conference, WNWO asked Sen. Brown a number of questions ranging from Obama Care to immigration reform, debate about raising the minimum wage, and President Obama's signing of the farm bill.
