Relatives arrested in numerous 2012 Perrysburg Twp. thefts

Both Joseph and Christopher Crapsey are accused in multiple Perrysburg Twp. break-ins.

This week the Wood County Grand Jury returned indictments against two relatives believed to be involved in multiple Perrysburg Township break-ins in 2012.

Investigators say that 46-year-old Christopher Crapsey and 53-year-old Joseph L. Crapsey III, both of Toledo, are responsible for taking an "enormous amount" of mechanical tools worth thousands of dollars.

Officials accuse the pair of trying to sell the stolen tools on Craigslist, out of a Toledo home and at the Toledo Flea market.

Christopher Crapsey is facing multiple charges including breaking and entering, grand theft, theft, vandalism, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.

Joseph Crapsey is only accused of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, at this time.

Friday night, Perrysburg Township officials could not confirm just how the Crapsey's are related.
